Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes to escape the wars and violence taking place in the east of Congo, and are living in temporary camps.
In an already desperate situation, recent fighting in the city of Goma means families who are still traumatised from losing their homes are being forced to flee once again.
This is Sifawe.
Sifawe lost her parents when her family was separated while escaping the destructive conflict in eastern DRC, Kivu.
No one has come forward to reunite with her. She resides in a cramped tent with 20 other children, sleeping on the bare floor. Sifawe's access to food and water is severely limited, but your donations guarantee her at least one meal daily.
